as we approach the end of the semester, a few ideas on how to present the work developed in this module
1- there is a possibility to display the work in the mezzanine galery (keyworth centre), after the exhibition of year 1 students (opening approximately on 22/23rd january 2007, when 2nd semester starts, and staying up for 1 week); let’s discuss in class what would be the best way to use this opportunity to show yr projects and develop an exhibition proposal that reflects the multimedia aspect of the work. photos can be used, as well as a video/dvd player for video work and a mac for on-screen/on-line presentation. zara will be the contact person and co-organiser with me of the mezzanine show;
2- there is also another possibility to show the work in the shopping centre, either in a space owned by tesco or in public area; aviv and patrick will be the contact persons and co-organisers with me of the shopping centre’s show;
